Our community and the next generation are huge passion points for us. We believe giving back isn’t based on our acts but on how we act every day.

To ensure that we do all that we can to help bring the next generation into our industry, we educate up-and-coming generations about what we do, the roles they can pursue, and the kinds of opportunities they can enjoy.

We walk our talk and live our values by striving towards sustainability as a business and investing in our community. We recognise that this is a journey, and we are committed to doing the work.

Over the past decade, Meritus has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to Bermuda and beyond by supporting various philanthropic causes and charities to help our community, our world, and our next generation. Recently, these have included donations in support of children and adolescent wellness to the Bermuda Foundation and The Coalition for the Protection of Children. Our contributions towards relief efforts during COVID-19, include supporting the West End, East End Community food hamper programme. To take us to the next level, we are investing in growing our in-house philanthropy expertise and created The Meritus Foundation to implement a targeted and mindful impact-driven philanthropy programme that we proudly support through financial investment and the passion of our people.
